Camping Vodník offers rafting on the lower Hron River.

Both the campsite and the rafting are located in the village of Jur nad Hronom, near the town of Želiezovce and only a few minutes by car from Levice. At the campsite you can enjoy the pure atmosphere of the Pohron nature and discover a yet undiscovered region of Slovakia. During your rafting trip you will get to know the fauna and flora around the Hron River.

After arriving at the campsite, you will be instructed how to use the equipment and then you get all the necessary sport equipment. After the instruction, you will be taken to the start of the rafting in the village of Kalná nad Hronom and from this point you will raft the river section independently up to the village of Jur nad Hronom.

You can also take the Jur nad Hronom section with the finishing point in Želiezovce, or as far as the Danube. After completing the rafting you will be transported back to the starting point.

The entire route of the Lower Pohronie up to the Danube is very popular, where you can enjoy the views of the panorama of Esztergom.

You can also combine the rafting with a visit to the Municipal Museum in Želiezovce and the memorial room of the famous composer Franz Schubert, who was active in Želiezovce in the 19th century. Sweeten your visit with a taste of the traditional Sacher’s cube, the recipe of which is also linked to the town of Želiezovce.

The rafting trip, including a visit to the museum, lasts from approximately 8:30 to 16:00.
